Spiritual Correspondence

     This ministry is to provide encouragement and goodwill to those individuals in correctional institutions by developing a friendly spiritual relationship through letter correspondence. Do not think that you are foisting religion or Jesus on them. 

     The man or woman who you will be writing to is a prison oblate of St. Benedict and as such he has made a promise to live out the “Rule of St. Benedict” to the best of his circumstances, to pray the liturgy of the hours and the rosary.  We are trying to live up to Jesus’ message in Matthew 25: “When I was in prison, you came to visit me…”
